What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
I have this chunky beef and mushroom pie on the menu for next week. It looks like such comfort food!
I’m also planning to try Ina Garten’s weeknight bolognese.
This chicken noodle egg drop soup reminds me of a brothy soup with egg that my grandma used to make.
OMG I cannot wait to try these maple sausage and cream cheese crescents; they sound like perfect party food!
Spicy barbecue grape jelly meatballs would be great for a Super Bowl party!
Have a delicious weekend!
I tried the bolognese tonight: it was very good, but not fabulous. Full disclosure: I did not have fresh basil to add at the end. I’m sure that would have kicked the flavor up a notch. Â I also halved the salt in the recipe. Believe me, I love salt, but I often find Ina’s recipes too salty. I use Diamond brand kosher salt, which, supposedly is less salty than Morton’s.Â
When making the banana split cake i wanted to make it in a 9 inch pie pan how much of the stuff do i use.
I want to try Ina’s Chicken Chili — minus the basil. Â I dislike basil equally as much as I dislike cilantro. Â https://www.thekitchn.com/ina-gartens-chicken-chili-recipe-266200
Cant wait to see his cake😊
