The Weekend Dish: 12/15/2018
Well, December has officially snuck up on me. I feel like it was just after Thanksgiving and I couldn’t believe that the calendar hadn’t flipped to December yet, and we had SO MUCH TIME until Christmas. Ummm, where did that time go?! I still have some shopping to finish up! This is basically our last weekend before Christmas since next Saturday we’ll be celebrating with my grandparents and my dad’s side of the family.
How are you spending this weekend?!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

When do you rest..and how do you stay so fit.
I had to look at the cable knit leggings for adults, and they do sell them on amazon..but they do not look anything near as plush and soft as baby leggings..almost look like tights. They say if u keep something long enough it will come back in style…I’ve been loving and wearing leggings before it was on trend lol…when it was probably a fashion “what not to wear”…but I never cared..and now look..its the “cool thing”. costco has a brand called Felina leggings..they are the softest and most plush brand I have seen.
The more confining ones are better for gym or running, but the felina ones are soooooo cozy for around home😊
Hi Macy! Rest… well… I need to do a better job at it! Honestly, I’m just in full-time mom mode 98% of most days, and I work on the computer after the kids go to bed, while my husband and I watch shows. As for fit, such a compliment, thank you! but I am far from fit… definitely struggling with the 3-kids-in-less-than-3.5-years weight gain. Which I know is not an excuse, since many women bounce right back to their pre-pregnancy weight, but it didn’t happen that way for me (well, it did with Dominic, but not after Joseph or Isabelle)! Need to do a better job of prioritizing exercise and less sweets ;-) And I am definitely going to check out those leggings the next time I’m at Costco! Thanks for the tip :)
