These are perfect cookies for Chirstmas. Everyone love it.
Yesterday I did a video call with my mom and we made Dille bread together. It’s a December tradition! We usually are in the same kitchen but for 2020 we met over video. It was a fun way to keep a family tradition alive.
We live on the West Coast and I’ve never met anyone outside our family who even knew what Dille bread was, but searching on the internet it seems to be a Midwest thing. We love it!
Can’t wait until you can get back to your Sunday family dinner gatherings. I miss those menus and recipes. Gave me such good ideas.
Yesterday I made my gingerbread men. It’s an old recipe that makes a ton of little men, hard as rocks just like we like them. They are great to dunk in coffee. Are dark with lots of molasses and ginger. And they freeze well, too.
Today I’m making your buckeyes and peppermint bark Michelle. Thanks for adding to our tables all year round. Love your recipes and seeing your beautiful family. Merry Christmas
