The Weekend Dish: 2/1/2020
Happy first weekend of February to you!
And happy Super Bowl weekend, as well. Phew, a lot going on!
Are you planning a huge food spread for the game? Who are you rooting for? Maybe you’re not watching at all or are just in it for the ads and halftime show? I’m indifferent on the teams this year, so I’ll be happy no matter who wins!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

Warm Black Bean Dip – This warm black bean dip is bursting with flavor thanks to black beans, chipotle chiles, adobo sauce, chili powder, corn, and an abundance of cheese! A party and game day must!

So as not to offend all of the football fans..I was happier watching the mens pro golf..seeing webb Simpson win. I did put on the half time show during superbowl and pretty quickly turned it off. It just seemed loud and a bit more than I felt like watching last night. But it did give me a moment to enjoy some homemade guacamole which was delish. Avocado a little red onion, serrano, small amount of chopped fresh tomato and small amount of cilantro..kosher salt. So good. It’s my sister’s recipe and it is wonderfully fresh and my favorite😊 hope your team won.
