The Weekend Dish: 6/1/2019
Happy Saturday and HAPPY JUNE!
It feels like the official start of summer! It’s been raining like mad all week, so hopefully we can get the kids outside today if the rain holds off. I’m finalizing the June bake along recipe for you (SO excited for this one!), and doing other odds and ends around the house. What are you up to today? I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

Great pictures of the kids, growing growing! My first thought when I saw the picture of you and the kids at the grocery store was gosh where does she put all of her groceries, my second thought was how does she shop with 3 little ones! You are so brave and a good mom and your kids seem very well behaved. I am glad you posted that yeast bread recipe, can’t wait to try it. I made your Chipotle chicken recipe for Cinco de mayo, I loved it and so did my company, ready to make it again and again! Thank you, love your website!
I live in ca and it rained last weekend here too. Still sort of dreary and overcast, would enjoy some sunshine. Your carrot cake recipe looks perfect..I might just do light amount of raisins. I haven’t decided if I love raisins or just like them lol. Only in oatmeal raisin cookies that my sister makes do I love them. Glad your family is healthy and Joseph is ok😊 hospital is scary. But you just are so strong, still doing your Sunday dinner. Wow is all I can say.
I am looking forward to the June baking challenge. I was unable to participate in the last two as I was relocating from Florida to Tennessee. Just completed putting my kitchen together today so I am ready now. I look forward to your Friday Things, your children are adorable. I also enjoy The Weekend Dish as I like to review your favorites. Thank you for the great recipes.
