The Weekend Dish: 9/29/2018
Wow! We are already in the last weekend of September, I have no idea where this month went!
Yesterday had to be one of the most perfect fall days in recent memory. It was drizzly in the morning, but by lunchtime the sun was out, and when I ran an errand near dinnertime in leggings and a pullover, the air was slightly chilly but the sun bright and warm in a picture-perfect blue sky. Absolute fall nirvana. I totally thrive during this time of year!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

I love your buffalo chicken dip recipe, it always gets rave reviews, especially being layered instead of all mixed. I’ve made one small change- if time permits, I slow cook the chicken in extra hot sauce instead of boiling it, then shred from there! If you like an extra zing, I’d recommend trying it!!
Happy Birthday to your mom! Â Do you have a recipe for your pot roast? Â If so, I would love to have it.
Thank you! Â
Hi Marla, My mother-in-law made it, I’m still working on perfecting my own pot roast recipe!
