The Weekend Dish: 10/7/2017
Happy happy weekend to you!
I hope you had a great week and are settling in to a relaxing couple of days. We had a busy couple of weeks here with Dominic’s birthday and lots of appointments, but things have finally calmed down and it’s nice to catch up a little bit and get back into a little groove. I plan on doing some playing around in the kitchen today and maybe, MAYBE trying to tackle my pantry (it’s gotten a pick out of control and I need to reel it in a bit!). What do you have planned for the weekend?
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
I made this one pot chili mac and cheese for dinner this week and it was a huge hit! I cut back on the cayenne, but it was still a little on the spicy side so I was surprised when Joseph devoured his. Although, if he thinks he’s eating pasta in any way, shape, or form, he’s usually happy, ha!
I will never, ever turn down tiramisu, so I’m saving this tiramisu ice cream cake for next summer!
Apple fritter pull-apart bread is SO happening!
Absolutely perfect for fall parties and the holidays! >> Slow Cooker Cranberry Spiced Cider
I’ll take an apple cinnamon roll every morning from now until Thanksgiving, please and thank you!
Have a delicious weekend!
can this for caramel pop corn
I don’t know if this violates some sort of blog etiquette, so apologies if it does, but I was hoping you do the pull apart recipe for us with homemade dough, please? Also, I’m terrible at directions about anything involving folding/stacking or that kind of thing- and those directions don’t make sense to me at that site – maybe you could clarify them in your version for us? It is like a gap in my ability to read – I blame my mother for not giving me enough blocks when I was younger. Thank you!
I actually worked on a homemade version yesterday that turned out great; I’ll be sharing it this week! :)
I definitely want to make that broccoli cheddar soup….it looks really tasty.
