What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
Cilantro-lime salmon looks like a great weeknight meal.
Ultimate fall comfort food >> Cranberry cider braised beef stew with rosemary polenta
And now I’m craving a classic chicken pot pie.
We haven’t had Chinese takeout in ages, so I’m putting orange chicken on the menu soon.
I made this slow cooker shredded beef chili last Sunday and it was a huge hit. My husband and father-in-law raved and said they liked it way better than using ground beef.
Have a delicious weekend!
My favorite side dish is cornbread stuffing with bacon, sausage and sour cream in addition to chicken broth, gallery and onions. Last year I made a sweet potato casserole with brown sugar and walnuts that disappeared so fast no one got seconds. I also make a brined Turkey with herbs and pear gravy. I love The holidays and Thanksgiving is just the beginning
Ooooh Dianne, I would LOVE that stuffing recipe and sweet potato casserole recipe if you’re inclined to share!
So fun to hear all about how and what is on everyone’s menus. Come on peeps time to chime in lol. Thanksgiving is right around the corner. For us we pretty much do the same exact menu every year at my parents place. Mom and I have been doing this together since I was in the 3rd grade..and I’m in my 50s now…yikes. of course many of those years were the I’m not doing it this year stuff lol, but we pretty much have stuck with it. Its turkey, homemade mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, homemade stuffing, canned cranberry sauce (we so enjoy it)…rings from the can and all, deviled eggs, corn w lots of butter and store bought brown n serve rolls..never homemade and Costco pumpkin pie with as much whipped cream as you can get onto your pie😊 the best!!
Oh my gosh, can you share your recipe for sausage ravioli in cream sauce? Â My sons would love that. Â Have a great weekend !Â
I bought them at Costco 🙈😂
