The Weekend Dish: 3/7/2020
Hello and happy weekend to you!
Are you ready to spring those clocks forward tonight? Excited for more daylight, NOT so excited for the havoc that changing the clocks wrecks on my kids’ sleep. Gah! What else are you up to this weekend??
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
This sounds so unbelievably cozy >> Wine Braised Beef with Mushrooms
These homemade crepes totally took me back to a little crepes place right across the street from my husband’s apartment when we were dating (Nutella was always my favorite!).
Pretty sure I could devour an entire loaf of braided pesto bread all by myself.
Also, perhaps, an entire pan of salted brown butter chocolate chip cookie bars.
I will always, ALWAYS order fried pickles if they’re on an appetizer menu.
Have a delicious weekend!
I made the Wine braised beef with mushrooms tonight for dinner. The dish was amazing and so simply to put together. My husband totally loved it has he never raised his head up from his dish!!! Hope all is well with your family during this crazy time.
You know you’re getting older when both time changes are hard….where you lose sleep and even when you gain an hour of sleep lol. Made me feel better to hear your young babies have a hard time with time change 😊
If your carbonara doesn’t turn out, I highly recommend this recipe:

It’s very authentic.
