The Weekend Dish: 6/16/2018
Happy Saturday to you!
Even though it feels like we’re in the throes of summer, I guess TECHNICALLY this is the last week of spring. The days here have been beautiful, which I’m enjoying before it gets hot and disgusting over the next few days, during which I will hibernate in my air conditioning.
Do you have any Father’s Day plans? We’re doing our regular Sunday dinner here, with dinner and dessert requests from my husband :)
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!
On Brown Eyed Baker This Week
Easy Peanut Butter Cookies – Classic peanut butter cookies! Straight from my mom’s recipe box, these cookies are easy to make, full of peanut butter flavor, and super soft.
Chocolate Eclair Cake (From Scratch) – This Chocolate Eclair Cake features layers of graham crackers with homemade vanilla pudding lightened with homemade stabilized whipped cream, and topped with chocolate icing. A wonderful summer dessert!
Friday Things – Blood work, a new griddle, potato salad, new clothes, watermelon and more!
