Hello and a happy weekend to you!

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

Have a delicious weekend!
in your favorite Italian bread recipe you call for bread flour- i cannot find any – anywhere!! Is it ok to use regular flour? or is there a difference in measurement? Please advise, i really love your recipes – they have all been terrific and easy to follow- you should have a TV show!!
Hi Eda, You are so sweet, thank you for the incredibly kind words! You can use regular all-purpose flour; the bread will be a little softer and not quite as “chewy” if that makes sense. But still delicious! I used it myself during quarantine when I couldn’t get bread flour. Wanted to let you know that I saw just last night that Walmart has multiple brands of bread flour in stock for shipping on their website, if you need to order any!
Pinned your recipe for Key Lime pie and plan to make it for July 4 th weekend. Â Projects here include redecorating our great room. Looking to change the color scheme without breaking the bank. Enjoy your summer with your children. Some of my best memories are of playing in a kiddie pool with mine all summer.Â
Two words: Pillow Covers. You can find them in a dizzying array of colors and patterns and then shove your existing throw pillows into them for an instant change. I also rotate my throw blankets for different colors depending on the time of year. Depending on your skill level and how much you want to get into it, paint can be a game changer in a space without needing to do anything else. Check out Houzz if you are looking for ideas.
