Well hello there December, it’s nice to see you!
I can’t believe we’re here already, but I’m totally ready for Christmas movies, peppermint bark, pretty snow, and lots of celebrating. I’m just starting to get my thoughts together for Christmas shopping, which is to say that I haven’t done any yet, but I’m definitely further ahead mentally than I was last year, ha! I was looking for the traditional banana pudding and was so glad I saw your recipe. I grew up with banana pudding with a meringue served warm and love it that way. I also like the new wave banana pudding as well. One note that I would like to mention is that the banana pudding should be prepared with ‘Nila wafers and not vanilla wafers. It makes a big difference. Thank you for the recipe. I hope my banana pudding looks as beautiful as yours.

No big plans for the weekend…it’s hot here still – in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s. Too hot to think about Christmas….ugh…..
