Lunch Lady Brownies sound amazing and the frosting reminds me of Texas sheet cake!
I love a classic cream cheese pound cake, but this coconut cream cheese pound cake sounds perfect for spring!!
LOVE the “crunch” part of this kale Caesar crunch salad.
Really want to try this Asian chili chicken for dinner one night.
I have a very distinct memory of a cinnamon raisin bread my grandma would buy that had a really thick, soft crumb topping on it. I’ve never been able to find it but wondering if the topping on this cinnamon crunch bread would come close!
Have a delicious weekend!
rustic crispy sour dough
Out here in California we have a cinnamon bread made by Greenlees that sounds like the one your grandma used to have. Not sure if it is regional or not…It’s a pretty sweet cinnamon bread with lots of yummy soft crumble and a drizzle of icing on top.
Reading recipes, and reading your blog has always been a highlight for me. However, this last year has been hard..even brutal really. And I have found such a calm in reading about recipes, techniques, food memories…because when I’m back and able..you know this girl’s gonna be making up for lost time in just about everything (God willing)..including cooking. Thank you for your inspiring not just cooking…but actual lives❤
I use feedly to follow all of my cooking blogs, and I’ve noticed that for the past few months only your Friday Things and Weekend Dish post season go to my Feedly. I’ve gone back & checked numerous times, to for some reason the weekday posts aren’t showing….
I don’t remember my “lunch lady” EVER making brownies like that! They look amazing!!!
That coconut pound cake, WOW! The recipe is sitting on my printer and as soon as things open up enough that I can share it with a group of people I’m making it.
Have a great weekend.
Just curious…have you and your husband been watching the CNN production..”Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy”? The third episode is scheduled for Sunday evening at 9pm. ..but the first two episodes are being replayed Saturday evening as well. It is just wonderful and I have so enjoyed all the information about regional foods as well as the historical perspective. The only down side is that I spend the entire hour salivating over the food. I can only imagine what a blast it was for Tucci to work on this project. He will be heading back for. ore filming as I just read that the series has been renewed for a second season.
Have a great weekend.
