The Best of BEB in 2017: 20 of My Favorite Recipes
My all-time FAVORITE RECIPES of 2017! Easy recipes, sweet, savory, and delicious!
Yesterday, I shared my annual roundup of the 10 most popular recipes on Brown Eyed Baker that were made during 2017. While many of those on that list were my favorites, there were also a ton of recipes that I fell in love with this year that didn’t make the cut. I want to share my personal favorites with you that didn’t make the top 10 list, so I put together this follow-up roundup, which features 20 of my favorites from 2017. It was agonizing to pare this list down; there are so many more recipes I want to include! These are the recipes that I made over and over, tried to hide from others, and cried when they were gone.
Enjoy browsing the list, and feel free to share any recipe requests for 2018 in the comments below!

The sugar cookie bars were one of my favorites I made from your site this year. And of course creamy fluffy mashed potatoes, that goes without saying :)
I tried your Chocolate Cream Pie. So good!! It totally ruined the kind you buy in the freezer section, lol.
Wow, these recipes looks amazing. I will have at least one of them on our table for New Year Eve. Have a Happy New Year.
Maybe once in awhile a “healthy” recipe? Maybe this is the wrong blog to request this though! I do love your recipes but usually only make them if I’m taking them to a group dinner or hosting one otherwise I’d eat them all by myself. My favourite recipes is your Hot Fudge Sauce (which is how I found you). For Christmas I made your Brussels sprouts recipe with pancetta, dried cranberries and pine nuts which was divine…everyone loved it and certainly a wonderful way to get people to eat Brussels sprouts! Keep doing what you do, I enjoy receiving your emails.
Thanks for the suggestion Wendy! Will definitely work some of these in!
I love your choices! I have been looking for a custard-y cinnamon pie recipe for a long time.
Oooh that sounds interesting! I’ve never heard of cinnamon pie, but I’m adding it to my research list!
I’ve been debating to hop on board the instant pot train. Once you’ve tried yours how about a review and some recipes??
Hi Stephanie, Yes absolutely!! I haven’t used it yet, but can’t wait!
My mom used to make a sour cream raisin pie. Plump, sweet raisins. Creamy filling. I can’t find the recipe she used. I’ve tried making it, and ordering it at restaurants. None come close. Do you have one? Thanks.
Hi Anita, I’ve never heard of this, but I’m totally intrigued! I’m adding it to my list!
I have a recipe similar to the spicy southern cheese crackers, only it includes bacon and smoked seal salt. I don’t make them very often because you can literally eat them until you are sick but oh my, are they ever good.
Oh my gosh, that sounds amazing!
So many great recipes to choose from!!! could i ask for more egg-free recipes for persons with allergies? :)
Thanks for the recommendation Demi, I’ll put it on my list!
Everything looks soooo good!!! ♥♥♥
