Jalapeño Popper Dip
Jalapeno Popper Dip is creamy, cheesy and has just the perfect amount of kick. Great appetizer for your next party or watching the big game!

I love any excuse I can come up with for making, and subsequently devouring, all sorts of delicious dips. You might remember that a little over five years ago, I told you about going to a “dip party” at my friend’s house. That gathering brought us the Buffalo Chicken Dip, Hot Reuben Dip, and the Sausage Dip. It was a seriously genius idea. Chips and dip are one of the few things that leave me unable to stop eating. Once I grab a chip and start dipping, it becomes virtually impossible for me to put on the brakes.
Jalapeno popper dip is one of my all-time favorites… it’s incredibly easy to assemble and will be gone in the blink of an eye.

If you (or anyone you’re serving this to) is sensitive to spicy foods, I would rank this pretty far on the mild side, maybe a 2 or 3? You’d think because of the amount of jalapeño peppers that it might be spicier, but it’s fairly tame, so dip away!

This jalapeño popper dip is everything that makes jalapeño poppers so addicting, and then some. It’s ooey, gooey, creamy, cheesy and spicy. It has bacon. It has a cheesy, buttery breadcrumb crust. It’s dip heaven. And it would definitely go well with a cold beer.
I’m already craving another batch!

It’s in the oven now. Can’t wait to try it! :)
This was amazing! A friend made it for our dinner party & we all about fell over it was so delicious! Thanks for a great recipe!
Made your dip for the first college football game weekend! It was delicious; I posted it on my blog….www.lifeofamodernhousewife.blogspot.com. Thanks so much for sharing, and my photo is not as good as yours ;)
Love all of your dip recipes! I made this for a girl’s night and everyone LOVED it. I think next time I make it (and there will be a next time for sure!), I might cut out the bacon. While I love anything with bacon, it distracted from the pepper flavors. I might also add a little more heat with some Tabasco Jalapeno Sauce.
This dip is fabulous. I made the entire recipe for a party with 25 people and cut it in half to take to a tailgating party with less than 10 people. It has been a hit and I’ve already shared the recipe a couple of times.
Made a batch this weekend, it was devoured!! Everyone loved it. Just a hint of spice and so much flavor. I used the cured jalapeno, garlic bacon from Whole Foods in it too – YUM.
This is the best appetizer!! Def. a crowd pleaser!!!!
Can you make this a day ahead of time and store it in the fridge and bake the day of?
I did make this dip the night before & it baked up great. I just took it out of the fridge for about 10 mins before I put it in the oven& then baked it for 10 mins without the topping to make sure the inside was warmw/o burning the top.
I made this dip this past weekend for a family party. While, it was a big hit, I felt a bit let down. When I read jalapeno dip i thought there was going to be some “bite” to it. The heat was not there, even using 6 peppers. It tasted like a cheese & bacon dip. I really felt that the pepper taste was lost.
The heat will all be dependant on your jalapenos. If you really like it hot, look for ones with striations on the skins. They are hotter. You can always leave a few of the seeds in as well.
Made this for a party and there was none left! Got many requests for the recipe, so yummy!
You could probably just say cheese, bacon, and jalapenos and I would love it. But this, wow, this looks great!
This is one of my favourite dips! So addictive!
Thanks for a great way to kick off pre-season! This will even help if the Redskins have another dismal season!
I made this on Saturday for a family party. It was a huge success. Everyone kept asking what it was & then went back for seconds. Served with crackers or tortilla chips. The quantity it made was just right because I had none left. We had about 25 people.
Made a double batch last night of this! Everyone at work loves it!
Sounds delicious!!! seems like it would compete well with buffalo chicken dip! :)
You had me at Jalepeno popper! This looks great!
I am in love!
I want this NOW!
Definitely trying this recipe!
I love dips too. This recipe sounds fab.
oh no! I never should have seen this recipe. I know it’s going to be way TOO ADDICTIVE. :D
Yeah, nothing about this sounds bad! Can’t wait to make this and eat it all!!! :)
Can’t wait to try this dip. I love poppers.
I love jalapeno poppers, but don’t want to make those. This is the perfect solution!
Oh wow – now THAT is a dip, my friend! Kudos! I will definitely have to try this! I hope it is as spicy as it sounds! I love me some spicy food! Cheers!
Oh my! I am already addicted to jalapeno popper! This will be perfect for football games or any random dip necessary days! I love your site, thanks for the recipe!
Wow this does sound pretty good! I love jalapeno poppers…so I’m sure a dip would be AMAZING!
YUM! I think the calorie burning that I did earlier got reversed just by admiring this. But I can’t wait to devour (I mean share) this & also host my own Dip Party – I love the idea!!
I love dip, too. If I go to a party and there is pretty much any type of dip, I just can’t help myself. I will eat dip over the main courses! Good thing I don’t go to that many parties. Love Jalapeno dip – the bacon is a great addition.
