Favorite Muffin Tools
Part of making fabulous muffins is having the right tools for the job! Luckily most muffin recipes are quite simple in terms of preparation, but below are my recommendations for the best equipment for making delicious, beautiful muffins:
- Regular Muffin Pan: USA 12-Well Muffin Pan
- Mini Muffin Pan: USA 24-Well Mini Cupcake and Muffin Pan
- Liners: I usually stick to classic white paper liners.
- All-Purpose Whisk: An 11-inch balloon whisk is perfect for any job.
- The Best Spatula: 11-inch silicone spatula
- Mixing Bowls: I love a classic mixing bowl set for various sizes.

FIFTH STREET PEACHES AND CREAM MUFFINS
I love foods that appear complicated and labor-intensive that are actually easy to prepare and delicious. This recipe is that and more. If you are a peaches & cream fan, this one has your name on it.
Makes 6 large muffins
Baking Time: 30 minutes
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted-do not use margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped peaches, frozen preferred
nonstick cooking spray
Cream filling:
1/3 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
You’ll need:
3 small mixing bowls
2 medium mixing bowls
1 large (6 cup) muffin tin
Preparation of cream filling: Mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Refrigerate.
Combine dry ingredients in medium mixing bowl and set aside.
Melt butter in small bowl in microwave and set aside to cool until just warm or it will cook the eggs when added.
In a small bowl, beat eggs slightly and add vanilla; set aside.
After butter has cooled, add egg mixture and combine. Set aside.
Chop frozen peaches into 1/2 inch cubes and return to freezer.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare creme filling as listed above.
Mix dry ingredients with butter/egg mixture and combine only until moistened. Do not over mix. Fold in frozen peaches.
Spray large muffin tins with nonstick cooking spray and fill each cup 1/3 full. Make a small indentation in the center of the batter in each cup and spoon 1 teaspoon of creme filling into each indentation. Top each cup with remaining batter until 2/3 full.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until top is golden brown. An inserted toothpick will NOT come out clean, so test by touching top with finger to see if it springs back a bit. Let stand for 5 minutes before removing from tin. Best served hot; there is no need to serve with butter.

Can you share a great recipe for bran muffins?
I’ve made several of these muffin recipes in the past and they’ve all been delicious! I wonder if you’ve ever tried any lower calorie, protein muffins before? I’m trying to incorporate protein powder into lower calorie recipes lately. ☀️☀️☀️
This may be an older post, but I don’t mind! I love it and my printer is very busy copying almost every recipe since several look better than what I already have. 😉
I am now set for each season. Thank you!

Hi,
Amazing recipe! I love this post and I have shared your post on my Facebook account. I have noted your recipes.
Thanks for sharing your valuable speech!
I think I’ll go with Honey Muffins because I am a fan of honey lately. I read how honey is a better and sweeter alternative to processed sugar, so I’m basically on a honey overdose. I have made honey muffins before and I have succeeded, so maybe that’s why I choose that one. I tried making choco chip muffins once but somehow the chips got all liquidish and not semisolid. I baked them for a little longer, I guess. Anyways, I vote for honey muffins.

I made the banana muffins – you are right! They are the best I have ever had! Thank you for the recipes. I will be trying more of them, guaranteed! It’s hard to make a nice moist muffin . . .and this was perfect!
Who doesn’t love muffins? they’re perfectly portioned packages of goodness. I love a good cranberry orange muffin, but now I want the allspice crumb muffin commenters are speaking of and don’t see it on the list! I’m going searching for it right now on BEB!
I made the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Streusel Muffins and they were unbelievably good! That cream cheese center perfectly complements the gently spiced muffin surrounding it. The crunch and sweetness of the streusel sends it off the charts! Good thing you called it a muffin, because I wouldn’t have made it for brunch if it had been a cupcake . . . Muffin beauty! It’s just this side of a dessert! FABULOUS!
I have an older recipe for a Chocolate Pumpkin Muffin s that I love. They have dark chocolate in them . Yum! Love corn muffins!
