How sweet are you, along with so many others in this BEB community. One of the great Joy’s was this site during these last several awful months.
Such a wonderful rescue story. I never like the part of hearing how they once lived, but I so enjoy hearing about their new lives. Forest kittie knew to go to you somehow. I always say that animals know in their hearts who loves and cares for animals. They can somehow tell and feel it. My 2 kitties are both street rescues. One was living in the Costco parking lot..starving and full of worms. My other kittie girl was loved as I got her as a baby at 5 mos, so shes been pampered for a very long time😊 I always had dogs most of my life, but after my doggies passed away my parents no longer wanted to do doggie daycare, so I will hope for a time when I can adopt a golden girl..and hopefully 2 more. 3 dogs I always say is a perfect #. Bless your special heart for caring so.
Thank you for linking to my White and Dark Chocolate Cream Cheese Chocolate Cake Bars. I cannot believe I published those in 2012. I had to just click over myself to check and see :)
Your kids are so cute, hope you’re enjoying the summer (at home likely).
And the groomer situation…cannot find a groomer still for my two long-haired cats. We are covered in massive amounts fur LOL.
I can empathize with Duke and Judith getting their first grooming since the quarantine began. Â I was due for a hair cut when the quarantine began and various reasons couldn’t make it happen. Â I was first in line this morning to have it cut and it feels so good! Â
Hey Michelle~ This is a comment on yesterday’s and today’s posts. Â I do have jumbo muffin tins. Â I really only use them for one recipe which is Double Chocolate Banana Muffins from the Three Rivers Renaissance Cookbook. Â Do you have it? Â These muffins are fabulous and I really can’t imagine making them using a normal sized cupcake pan. Â The jumbo size is perfect for these muffins. Â I just finished reading your post this morning and the link for the chocolate chip muffins which I thought would also be great in a jumbo size. Â Then I noticed that’s what the author used. Â I would definitely recommend a jumbo tin. Â And if you don’t have the Three Rivers cookbook and would like the recipe for for the double chocolate banana muffins, let me know. Â I’ll gladly share it with you. Â I promise you won’t be disappointed :) Â Have a great weekend!
P.S.  I got a Golden puppy as soon as the  states opened for travel (she is from Indiana). So now I have two Golden girls.  It was a glorious day when my older Golden was able to go for her grooming as she, too, was a few months behind on her grooming schedule and badly in need of a good bath and trim.  The  little one got her nails clipped just to start getting her used to the groomer.  So, YAY!! for Duke and Judith’s big day today. Â
Happy day on your new pup. I’d so love to be able to have my own golden rescue one day if I ever have a yard. Because of Michelle’s furry babies probably I have a fondness for this breed or any dog really, kitties too. I never thought I was a “cat person” but until I got them I didnt realize how loving and sweet they can be.
Hi Macy~ It truly was a happy day!  I’ve wanted a second Golden for some time now.  I am smitten  with the breed.  My Golden girls are about 5 years apart and it’s taken the older one some time to get used to the Little One, but it’s happening and they are a joy.  I hope you get your rescue one day.  Kitties can be very sweet and loving too.  We also have 3 cats and they each have their own personality and each one of them is very friendly.  Our one cat adopted us.  She came out of the woods and we cared for her because she needed it badly, poor thing.  I thought she was just lost and belonged to someone.  It soon became apparent that she wasn’t missing, so we had her spayed and have given her a home.  She’s part of our “kitty brigade”.  They are a lot of fun!  I hope you get your Golden rescue one day soon.
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream is really eye-catching! I believe it’s the lifesaver in this summer.
