The Weekend Dish: 12/9/2017
I hope you’re having a fantastic second weekend of December! What do your weekend plans look like? Shopping? Baking?
I’m planning on some serious (online) shopping and whipping up at least a couple of recipes today! Honestly after the crazy week we’ve had with Joseph being sick and being sleep deprived for days on end, I’m looking forward to a low key day at home with no commitments and nothing that MUST be done.
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

Enjoy the remainder of your weekend. Â ElaineÂ
I am in the middle of a “Spring Ckeaning” type cleaning in my bedroom and it is exhausting. I didn’t realize how much if a hoarder I had become. Haven’t started baking yet. Probably won’t start on it till the week before Christmas…sigh…
I hope Joseph is on the mend & that the rest of you don’t catch it. I made your Banana Split dessert for my neighbor’s 94th b’day this week & he LOVED it!
Thank you Martha! Joseph is definitely feeling much better, although still a little raspy. So far the rest of us have stayed healthy! So glad that dessert was a hit, one of my favorites!
Happy weekend!!!! We are having Christmas w/ my mom today (divorced parents :/) & I am making your beef enchiladas!!!! :) This will be my 2nd time making them in 2 weeks. They are awesome!!!!!!!
