The Weekend Dish: 3/24/2018
Hello hello!
I hope your weekend is off to a great start and that you’ve dug out from under the snow if you got hit this week. I’m ready for some warm weather, for sure!
Low key weekend planned here since we’re down to this one and next week before baby arrives! Maybe some kitchen work today, but that’s about it!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

I want to eat this cinnamon raisin bread every single morning.
I’m not usually a doughnut person, but these old fashioned sour cream cake donuts look phenomenal!

Love how this Easter chocolate cake is decorated!
Have a delicious weekend!
How do you prepare your breaded chicken cutlets? Â When you say ‘cutlets’, do you mean a trimmed boneless skinless chicken breast, maybe sliced in half to thin it out? Â Would you consider a future post on your breaded chicken cutlets?
LET’S GO PENS! Â The last 2 games have me apprehensive going into this afternoon’s game. Â The thing I don’t like about play offs is that it means the hockey season is almost over, but can hockey get any more exciting than during the play offs? Â Enjoy the game today!
Hi Michelle! So honestly, the breaded chicken cutlets were a specialty of my grandma’s, and both my father-in-law and mom make them. It’s chicken breast that’s pounded insanely thin, then breaded in the traditional flour-eggs-bread crumbs and then pan fried. It’s one of my very favorite foods! I’ll put together a post at some point!
I agree that hockey season coming to an end is a bummer but playoff hockey is just so crazy fun to watch!
I love your website and your recipes. Thank you for your dedication! I would love you to visit my blog too and check out some of my favourite easy peasy family recipes. Come over to trinamichellehouse.com and have a look around! Trina xx
