The Weekend Dish: 8/16/2025
Happy weekend to you!
My kids still have one full week of summer left, but I know a lot of kids have already headed back or will be going this week; I’m hoping that everyone in your family has a smooth transition to the new school year!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Most Popular Product Shares This Week:
1. 28-Piece Birthday Candles Set – After being stuck a couple of times in recent months without two of the same number candle for when we celebrated birthdays at our house, I grabbed this set so I’ll always have what we need!
2. Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro – We’ve had a version of this since before we had kids, and it is by far my favorite small kitchen appliance. We use it every day, multiple times a day; I can’t recommend it enough.
3. TYMO Automatic Rotating Curling Iron – I bought this a few months ago after seeing a Facebook ad and wasn’t sure if it would actually work well, but oh my goodness, this is AMAZING. I am so bad at curling my own hair, and this makes it easy and effortless; I don’t curl my hair often, but I’ve used this three times now and I’m so happy I bought it!
4. Automatic Card Shuffler – The kids got this as a Christmas gift last year and they love it! They are all still learning how to shuffle cards well on their own, but in the meantime, this makes it easy for them to play card games independently!
5. Weekly Planner Notepad – I bought this in November because, even though we have and use a Google calendar, apparently, if I don’t look at it, I forget what’s going on. This has been SO helpful, I fill it out each week and put it on the fridge. It’s also been great because the kids have always routinely asked “what do we have tomorrow?” or “is there anything going on after school today”? Now it’s all right there, and they look at it every day and know who has a practice or after-school activity, doctor’s appointment, or anything else. I LOVE this!
6. It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In – I’ve used this for years but ran out recently and thought I’d try to get by without it; nope, I could tell a huge difference!
7. The Paradise Problem – My current read, and I am SO CLOSE to finishing it! While I thought the initial premise was really far-fetched (I mean, it IS), I’ve also enjoyed it. (Fair warning that there are a couple of spicy scenes.)
8. Large Square Jar – My go-to jar for stashing a batch of refrigerator bread and butter pickles.
9. Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass Food Storage Containers – I replaced most of our plastic tupperware with these glass containers a few years ago and I love them so, so much.
