The Weekend Dish: 7/12/2025
Hello and happy mid-July to you!
It’s hard to believe that the summer is about half over; I’m determined to make the most of the rest of the kids’ break from school. Which is to say, more time at the pool, a relatively light schedule, slow days, and more ice cream cones :)
I hope you have a great summer weekend!

Most Popular Product Shares This Week:
1.ย Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro – Our most-used small kitchen appliance, hands down. We use it every single day, multiple times a day. We’ve had one of these for over 12 years now!
2.ย Dreamsky Alarm Clocksย โ This is the clock all of our kids have in their rooms (and they brought them on vacation!); the time sets automatically, adjusts for DST, you can adjust the brightness, it shows the day, date, temperature, etc. and the alarm function is easy to set โ Dominic figured it out himself. Our kids use these, but they would be great for anyone.
3.ย Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass Food Storage Containersย โ I replaced most of our plastic tupperware with these glass containers a few years ago and I love them so, so much.
4.ย Smart Bird Feederย โ We got my father-in-law one of these for his birthday earlier this year and my husband was so enamored with it that I got HIM one for HIS birthday shortly thereafter. We all love this; itโs so fun to see the different types of birds that show up!
5.ย Weekly Planner Notepadย โ I bought this in November because, even though we have and use a Google calendar, apparently, if I donโt look at it, I forget whatโs going on. This has been SO helpful, I fill it out each week and put it on the fridge. Itโs also been great because the kids have always routinely asked โwhat do we have tomorrow?โ or โis there anything going on after school todayโ? Now itโs all right there, and they look at it every day and know who has a practice or after-school activity, doctorโs appointment, or anything else. I LOVE this!
6. Jigsaw Puzzle Boardย โ We use this puzzle board all year long; I love to always have a puzzle going and it draws the kids in, too!ย I love that this has drawers for organizing pieces.
7. Silicone Dough Matย โ I LOVE having a big dedicated silicone mat just for rolling out dough and the one I have has the measurement markings both along the edges and in circles in the middle, perfect forย pies,ย cut-out sugar cookies,ย pizza dough, and any pastry dough. Canโt recommend this enough!ย
8. Nordic Ware Extra Large Baking Pansย โ I use these pans more than any others in my kitchen. They are jumbo-sized pans, which means they can fit more cookies, more meat or potatoes for roasting, etc. I actually just bought another set of two a month ago for bigger batches of cookies.
9. Dishwasher Cleaner – I use this monthly to keep the inside of our dishwasher clean and free of buildup (remember to check and clean the filter, too!).
10. Cole & Mason Salt and Pepper Millsย โ We recently bought this set for ourselves as we were badly in need of replacing our salt and pepper shakers. These are a bit of a splurge, but theyโre gorgeous and would also make a fabulous gift!
