75 Super Bowl Recipes for Super Bowl XLVI

January 30, 2012 | 32 Comments | Email | Print

Next Sunday the Super Bowl rolls around again, and unfortunately the Steelers won’t be making a repeat trip back. Although that makes watching the game a tad bittersweet, it’s still a great excuse to whip up some favorite foods and enjoy time with friends. Plus, it always helps to have rooting interest in the game. As a Steelers fan, I must do my best to make sure that Tom Brady and the Patriots don’t win another Super Bowl. So I’ll definitely be watching and cheering on the Giants this year, hoping they can repeat that magical upset of four years ago.

To get you ready for the big game, I have put together 75 of what I think are the best game day menu items on the site. There are dips, appetizers, decorated sugar cookies, some main dishes and sides, and of course crowd-pleasing sweets. Each day this week I will also feature a new dip or comfort food as a potential to add to your menu. I love party food! Enjoy perusing the recipes and… GO GIANTS!

The ONLY thing exciting to me about the Super Bowl is the food– particularly the dips, which is odd from a gigantic sweet tooth like me!

Actually, I take that back. Tom Brady ooohing and aaahing will excite me as well.

Your posts always amaze me! I don’t always get to comment because that pesky little think called the work week gets in the way, but I’m always inspired to try something new after reading your posts.

With three little boys in my house, the football sugar cookies seem to be the best recipe for the SuperBowl. Go Patriots! Woo Hoo! They’re gonna rock!

When the gladiators (PATRIOTS) take the field the ground will tremble, the giants will not be detered but there destany will be short lived. I hail there bravery and soulute there tanacity but in the end the gladiators will prevale.
