On Sunday the Super Bowl rolls around again, and while my Steelers won’t be making an appearance, it’s still a great excuse to whip up some favorite foods and enjoy time with friends. Although I don’t have a hometown team to root for this year, I’m pulling for the Broncos to win. Who are you rooting for?

To get you ready for the big game, I have put together a list of what I think are the best game day menu items here on the site. There are dips, appetizers, decorated sugar cookies, some main dishes and sides, and of course crowd-pleasing sweets. Each day this week I will also feature a new recipe that would be perfect to add to your menu. Happy Super Bowl week!

I can’t say I have ever served anything for the bowl, haha, not being a football person. But if I were to, I do adore your restaurant style salsa!

Thanks for rooting for our Broncos – we here in Denver are rooting with all our might. It’s kind of a tug of the heart for me also because I have always liked the Seahawks and still do – I just want my team to win this year. Go Broncos! Love the recipe listing. Thanks.

Being a born & raised Pittsburgher, my heart belongs to the Steelers without question . . . but since the Super Bowl is not on the Pittsburgh horizon this year, I’ve gotta cheer for Peyton and the Broncos. And I love to make Pierogi Casserole for games & parties. Much easier than traditional pierogis, but just as delicious (and carb-loaded :) )
